According to Consumer Reports, eight out of 10 Americans would rather purchase products that were made in the U.S. than ones that were imported. Due to its popularity, many well-known brands, such as KitchenAid mixers, Igloo Playmate coolers and Whirlpool refrigerators, are still manufactured in the U.S. along with many other products found at the National Hardware Show.
Each year, U.S.-made home improvement products are exhibited on the Show Floor in the featured Made in USA products area where celebrated exhibitors, including MagLite and Malco, showcase products that are primarily manufactured in the U.S.
In addition to the designated display, the best products are highlighted by the American Manufacturing Awards handed out each year during the Show. Awards are given for best packaging, best on-site patriotic marketing and best new product. To see and touch the award winning products and browse the Show Floor for Made in USA inventory, retailers can register now for the 75th annual National Hardware Show scheduled for May 5-7, 2020 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
