This week, staff members with the North American Hardware and Paint Association (NHPA) are heading out on a new adventure, road tripping through Florida to visit independent home improvement retailers.
The trip to Florida—which will take the team through Orlando and Tampa—is marking the first in a series of mini-road trips that will take NHPA retail engagement specialist Renee Changnon to a variety of independent businesses in states across the country.

“We’re thrilled to be able to get back out in the industry and check in with retailers,” Renee says. “Over the last two years, we’ve been talking to retailers about their operations on the phone and in virtual settings, but to be welcomed into their stores is a true honor. We look forward to making new connections and catching up with old friends.”
From Monday, Feb. 21 through Wednesday, Feb. 23, the team will visit stores in Orlando, Tampa and the surrounding communities, while also showcasing the Sunshine State and fun spots to visit if retailers ever make their way to the area.
