The North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA) is hosting a series of virtual town halls to help independent home improvement retailers across North America as they adapt their operations during COVID-19. These virtual town halls are completely free and are a way for retailers to share best practices and stories of success amid the pandemic.
Next Town Hall: June 24
The next NRHA Town Hall will take place Wednesday, June 24 from 4-5 p.m. EST. Joining retailers and NRHA representatives will be Bill Brunelle, co-founder of Independent We Stand, and retail and leadership expert Dr. Rob Mathews, executive director of the Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute of Ball State University.
Bill Brunelle is an advocate for small business. With Independent We Stand, Brunelle has inspired small business owners to celebrate their locally owned status and educate customers on the importance of shopping locally. He was recently a guest on Episode 17 of the Pep Talk podcast. Brunelle will discuss how small business leaders are coping with the pandemic and offer insights into how the entire independent community can unite to support small business.
Leadership expert and Retail Leadership Institute instructor Dr. Rob Mathews will pass along advice on how to lead during times of unprecedented crisis. He’ll also share how some home improvement leaders are taking charge and motivating employees and community in challenging times. Check out Episode 12 of the Pep Talk podcast for more of Dr. Mathews’ insights into independent innovation.
Retailers can register to attend the June 24 NRHA Town Hall now. Independent retailers across North America are invited to attend to share how they’ve amended operations during the crisis and to hear stories of success from their peers.
