Nation’s Best Names New Chief Operating Officer

Nation’s Best Holdings LLC has named Jace Mattinson as chief operating officer across its growing coast-to-coast portfolio of lumberyards, home centers and hardware stores.

Mattinson became part of Nation’s Best in the capacity of chief financial officer (CFO), bringing with him a wealth of expertise in private equity as well as substantial roles as CFO and division vice president at Higginbotham Brothers and US LBM respectively. Since starting at Nation’s Best, Mattinson has consistently embraced expanding spheres of responsibility, encompassing the oversight of fleet and safety, along with the management of the Nation’s Best IT department.

“In a short period of time, Mattinson has proven he can tackle any problem, big or small, while managing with respect, dignity and in perfect harmony with our company culture,” says Chris Miller, president and CEO of Nation’s Best Holdings. “He is a natural born leader, with a phenomenal work ethic, and I couldn’t be more excited to have him collaborate with the already amazing operational management teams we have in place.”

Mattinson will collaborate closely with regional leadership to oversee the daily operations of all Nation’s Best locations. In this capacity, he will steer the implementation of the organization’s strategic direction while fostering the delivery of exceptional customer service to patrons across the country.
