Lumber King Appoints Jim Lensing as President

Lumber King recently announced the appointment of Jim Lensing as president, bringing over four decades of experience in the lumber and building materials industry.

“Jim has run companies much larger than Lumber King, and we are very fortunate to attract such a successful leader and innovator in the industry,” says Steve Phillips, Lumber King CEO. “He is known for maintaining the highest quality standards and improving overall profitability, while elevating customer service standards and enhancing the client experience. Our board of directors was impressed with Jim’s success in the industry, his down-to-earth ability to communicate at all levels and his vision for the company’s future. Jim is a great fit for our Lumber King culture, and we look forward to working with him for many years to come.”

Lensing previously served as division vice president at USLBM Holdings, where he oversaw operational growth and market expansion. He also held the position of vice president at Foxworth Galbraith.

“My vision for Lumber King is to build on its strong foundation while positioning it for sustainable growth,” Lensing says. “We will be recognized as an industry leader not just for what we do, but how we do it: with integrity, innovation and a relentless focus on delivering value to our customers and our people. My role is to set the vision, remove obstacles and ensure we’re executing with discipline and purpose. Most importantly, I want Lumber King to remain a value-driven organization, one that scales smartly, stays true to its culture and adapts confidently to a changing world.”
