Lowe’s recently introduced its new Digital Home Platform, a program providing personalized information to homeowners about home appliances, to members of the MyLowe’s Rewards program. The platform includes how-to content, warranties, manuals, replacement parts and recommended subscriptions for customer’s home appliances.
“We’re building toward a future where our customers have all the information about their home and home maintenance needs in one place—think a digital twin for their home,” says Chandhu Nair, Lowe’s senior vice president of technology.
Lowe’s plans to expand the platform into other areas of home maintenance in coming years. Currently, customers who purchased any major appliance connected to a MyLowe’s Rewards account within the past five years automatically have access to the Digital Home Platform.
