Lowe’s announced the opening of two Texas stores set to open at the end of January.
Lowe’s of Celina, Texas, is slated to open on Jan. 23 and Lowe’s of Manvel, Texas, has a planned opening of Jan. 30. These mark the sixth and seventh Lowe’s locations to open in Texas in less than a year.
“Service is at the core of everything we do here at Lowe’s and solving problems and helping customers across their journey is our mandate,” says Lowe’s south division president Joel Cogdell. “Whether that’s helping a family settle into their new home or helping a Pro get everything they need for their project, we are excited to open stores in these communities and begin providing the value and exceptional service Lowe’s is known for.”
Several self-service paint kiosks will be rolled out as a standard feature for the new stores. The kiosks are used to guide customers through selecting paint, placing orders and streamlining wait times.
Each store will feature over 94,000 square feet of retail space, 30,000 square feet of outdoor garden space and employ over 100 associates. The stores will also hold grand opening weekends featuring special deals, product demos, giveaways and free food.
