L&M Fleet Supply Expands in Missouri and Kansas

L&M Fleet Supply recently announced its planned acquisition of Family Center Farm & Home, a seven-store retailer with locations in Missouri and Kansas.

The combination is expected to create a larger and more resilient retail enterprise with greater scale, broader market diversification, stronger purchasing capabilities and increased ability to invest in store experience, distribution, systems, talent, infrastructure, e-commerce and digital convenience.

“This is not about changing what makes either company special,” says Erik Andersen, CFO & co-owner, L&M Fleet Supply. “It is about building on the strengths and traditions of both organizations so we can create an even stronger retailer for the future while staying true to the values that have guided us from the beginning.”

Both organizations remain committed to preserving the personal, local and trusted customer experience that has made each company successful.

“Retail continues to change quickly, but we believe the future will not be won by size or technology alone,” says Blake Mills, CEO of Family Center Farm & Home. “Customers still value expertise, relationships, trust, discovery and authentic connection. Together, we believe we can offer both the convenience customers want and the human experience they cannot get through a screen alone.”

Mills will have an equity interest in the newly combined organization where he will serve as president, Region 400. In this role, he will focus on strategic growth and provide executive representation and ownership-level accountability across the Missouri & Kansas region where the seven existing locations will continue to operate as Family Center Farm & Home stores.

The combined company will operate 20 stores across five states, including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Missouri and Kansas.
