Listen Up: NRHA Launches First New Podcast Series

Across industries, podcasts are becoming increasingly crucial ways of sharing information and learning from experts. From podcasts centered on the latest movies and TV, to political and comedy programs, podcasts are bringing new voices and new ideas to engaged audiences.

The North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA)  and Hardware Retailing are proud to launch two new podcast series this month. Combining exclusive interviews with insightful channel analysts and the people who breathe life into independent home improvement retail, the new podcasts can help all players in the independent industry become more informed, goal-focused retailers.

Launching Today: ‘Taking Care of Business’

“Taking Care of Business” is hosted by Dan Tratensek, executive vice president of NRHA and publisher of Hardware Retailing. The podcast aims to highlight the expert analysts and retail veterans who are bringing new opportunities to the home improvement channel. Gain operational and channel-specific insight on how you can run a more efficient, more profitable business with each episode.

“I get the opportunity so often to talk and to interact with people in the industry who are so knowledgeable about retail and consumer behavior and what’s going on in the industry,” Tratensek says. “This podcast is a great way to bring those conversations out of the aisles of a show and get them out to the industry at large.”

The first episode of “Taking Care of Business” launches today and features a conversation between Tratensek and Jim Robisch, a prolific speaker and a senior partner at market research firm The Farnsworth Group. Subscribe and download it today to listen on your phone, in your car, or anytime you want hard-hitting channel insights and analysis.

This isn’t the only podcast NRHA is working on. Check back soon for more information on our second podcast initiative, “Tell Me More…,” which is launching on April 22.
