Jonathan Mize to Succeed Steve Henry as HDA Board Chairman

Jonathan Mize, CEO and president at Blish-Mize Co., will succeed Steve Henry as chairman of the Board of Directors of Hardlines Distribution Alliance (HDA). Steve Henry, CEO and president at House-Hasson Hardware Company, announced his retirement in September.

Jonathan Mize began his career at Blish-Mize in 1990 and has been CEO and president for 11 years. In addition, he has served on multiple boards, including the Hardware Group Association board for 10 years, and was a board member and chairman for Distribution America and a board member for HDA since its formation in 2022. With his insight into the independent channel and numerous years of experience, Jonathan’s contributions to HDA and the industry will be deeply valued.

“As a veteran of the hardware industry for multiple decades, Jonathan’s perspective and expertise will be invaluable as HDA looks for continued growth opportunities and innovative ways to boost collaboration within our network,” says Steve Synnott, CEO at HDA.
