At the 2018 House-Hasson summer dealer market in Sevierville, Tennessee, retailer attendees got information on the regional distributor’s programs and products to help their businesses succeed.
Held June 14-16 at the Sevierville Events Center near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, this year’s event saw more than 10,000 orders for water heaters, a metric House-Hasson president Don Hasson says indicates a thriving retail landscape.
He says this summer’s market was a success for his company and the retailers it serves.
“Overall, in terms of attendance and sales, it was a successful market, and we’re very pleased,” he says. “Our goal is to grow dealer profitability, and our dealer markets and special advertising programs are terrific tools to reach that goal.”
Attendees were introduced to the distributor’s Digital Deals free advertising program, which House-Hasson vice president Taylor Hasson says is essential for retailers.
“Dealers are recognizing the importance of getting their names and products in front of customers in every way possible,” he says.
The company will create digital ads for the program’s 400 participating business owners to use on Facebook, Twitter and their own websites. Because the program is free, Taylor Hasson recommends it to House-Hasson retailers.
“It’s a service of House-Hasson for our dealers, to help them reach new customers and to strengthen existing customer loyalty,” he says.
The company serves approximately 2,500 independent hardware and lumberyard retailers across 22 states and the Caribbean Basin.
