Highlights From the 2025 International Hardware Fair Italy

The second International Hardware Fair Italy came to a close last week in Milan, Italy, after welcoming 320 exhibitors from 22 countries and over 5,600 visitors from 53 countries.

Participants gathered for two days of exhibitions, demonstrations, networking and conferences. Industries represented by the companies and professionals who attended spanned from hardware, building and industrial supplies to garden and outdoor, security and safety equipment to paints and colors.

“I am pleased to see that the International Hardware Fair Italy has once again demonstrated its role as a key event for the European market,” says Gerald Böse, CEO of Koelnmesse GmbH. “The success of the event strengthens Koelnmesse’s global reach, as well as the EISENWARENMESSE network and other international trade fairs in the hardware sector.”

The International Hardware Fair Italy presented the Product of the Year 2025 awards, evaluating over 100 submissions and awarding winners in three categories. The awards highlight the quality, commitment and creativity of companies at the fair.

Stanley Black & Decker Italia SRL won the Innovation category, Unique Solutions USA earned the top spot in the Design category and Industrial Starter S.p.A. – PIP received the highest award in the Green category.

The 2025 International Hardware Fair Italy also held a matchmaking program, facilitating connections between participants with shared and specific interests, creating connections and collaboration between participating companies.

“With each new edition, International Hardware Fair Italy further strengthens its role as an essential event for the hardware sector in Italy and Europe,” says Thomas Rosolia, managing director of Koelnmesse Italy. “This year’s results—expected, yet always impressive—confirm the exhibition’s steady growth, which has seen broader participation from international buyers as well as its strategic value within Koelnmesse’s global network. The success of this edition once again highlights the importance of International Hardware Fair Italy in fostering new business opportunities and innovation for Italian and international companies.”

The third International Hardware Fair Italy will be held May 5-6, 2027, in Bergamo, Italy.
