Hartville Hardware recently celebrated the opening of its Middlefield, Ohio, location with a grand opening celebration.
The company entered the Middlefield market in 2020 with the acquisition of Centerra Lumber and Supply Company. The grand opening of the new store was held on Sept. 12, 2025.
“HRM Enterprises Inc., our parent company, sees Middlefield as a strong growth opportunity,” says Kelli Hill, Hartville Hardware marketing director. “The area has a growing population, demand for both retail and lumber and close ties to the family.”
A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on Sept. 10, 2025, and featured tours of the store and remarks from Hartville employees and local figures, including Middlefield’s Mayor Ben Garlich. The store’s soft grand opening ceremony on Sept. 12 included food samples, product demonstrations, complimentary concessions and discounted prices on select products.
