Hardware Sales Pours Into Brewery Partnerships

A new partnership is brewing at Hardware Sales in Bellingham, Washington, as the operation has started partnering with local breweries to sell beer in the store. Brookelyn McClellan, operations and marketing coordinator, says the company started selling beer a few months ago and so far, it’s been a fun project to work on.

“It started as a fun idea that various people at work have thrown around for a while, and then as a team we started to investigate it,” McClellan says. “It’s a pretty fitting partnership because we live in a town that is very centered around breweries and being local. Our customers think it is so fun being able to get a beer that co-branded with their local brewery and local hardware store.”
