GMS Inc. recently announced it has acquired the assets of Above Interior Distributors, Inc., a specialty acoustical products supplier.
“We are excited to welcome Above Interior and its team of highly knowledgeable professionals to GMS,” says John Turner, Jr., president and chief executive officer of GMS. “Bringing them into the GMS family of brands will further expand our distribution coverage of specialty acoustical and ceiling product offerings throughout south Florida while providing an even higher level of service to our customers.”
Above Interior will operate under its existing branding as part of GMS Southeast and will increase GMS’s presence throughout South Florida. GMS was acquired by Home Depot in 2025 and now operates over 320 distribution centers.
