Engagement Is Hot at House-Hasson’s Gateway to Summer Dealer Market

With an increase in sales and a record number of vendors, the House-Hasson 2024 Summer Dealer Market sizzled for all attendees. The “Gateway to Summer” event took place June 13-15 at the Sevierville Events Center in Sevierville, Tennessee, welcoming retailers and their families to enjoy all the market offerings plus a stay at the Wilderness at the Smokies resort, featuring indoor and outdoor waterparks.

House-Hasson vice president of merchandising Jason Rasmussen says that sales were up 17% at this Dealer Market compared to the 2023 Summer Dealer Market. This Dealer Market also had record vendor attendance with 100 new vendors bringing their products and services to House-Hasson retailers.

The two Bonus Buy Breakfasts helped improve dealer profitability and brought additional benefits for attendees looking to stock their stores for the upcoming seasons. Other highlights of the Dealer Market were the Luck of the Draw and pallet-aisle giveaways, providing numerous opportunities for attendees to walk away with prizes and free products.

In March 2024, House-Hasson signed a letter of intent to acquire Bostwick-Braun, and Rasmussen says they were excited to see new faces and welcome Bostwick-Braun customers to this market.

The event kicked off with a golf tournament at the Sevierville Golf Course, where attendees networked with the House-Hasson team, other dealers and vendors. Golfers also enjoyed lunch and competed for longest drive, closest to the pin and other contests.

From October 10-12, House-Hasson will host its first Dealer Market at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

“The October market in Charlotte is set to be our biggest market yet as we merge our vendor and customer bases together,” Rasmussen says.
