Do it Best Member Opening First Store in Saudi Arabia

Do it Best Corp. can add one more country to its list of more than 50 around the world where its stores operate.

Attken Do it Center will open in May in Saudi Arabia, becoming the first of the co-op’s member stores in the country. The store will offer more than 40,000 products across multiple categories, as well as home improvement advice.

“We are very proud of our partnership with one of the biggest specialized retail brands in the USA, serving more than 3,800 member-owned locations in the United States and in 54 other countries,” says Mishaal Al Bawardi, executive director of Attken Do it Center. Do it Best first announced the partnership in May 2015.

Attken Do it Center has plans to expand by opening three branches yearly throughout Saudi Arabia, Al Bawardi says.

Attken Do it Center is just one part of the global expansion Do it Best is seeing with both new and existing members adding new store locations around the world, says David McDonald, global sales and product development manager with Do it Best.

“Do it Best Corp. continues its efforts with an eye on targeted development in Asia and the Middle East,” McDonald says. “We also anticipate exciting new store additions in the Caribbean and Latin America that will open over the next 12 months.”
