Do it Best Group has brought on Helge Hinniger in the role of director of communications. Hinniger replaces Randy Rusk, who retired in June after 32 years with Do it Best Group.
Hinniger brings a combination of communications, brand leadership and business experience to the position. Most recently, he led enterprise marketing and communications for Novae, working across 13 brands, more than 20 manufacturing facilities and a large independent dealer network. Before that, he spent more than a decade leading corporate communications for Fort Wayne Metals.
“Helge understands how to take a complex business and tell its story clearly and thoughtfully to a wide range of audiences. He’s an experienced communications leader, a strong collaborator and someone who appreciates the importance of building trusted relationships over time,” Rusk says. “That makes him the right person to take the baton from here. I know he’ll be an engaged and accessible partner who is committed to continuing the strong media relationships we’ve cultivated together over the years.”
