Do it Best Creates New LBM Division Role

Do it Best has announced that Jean Fahy will be assuming the new role of LBM Division Manager of Business Development, effective July 1.

In this role, Fahy will be executing on key LBM member recruitment initiatives while expanding the company’s engagement with existing LBM members. Her focus will also include expanding Do it Best LBM operations across the U.S. and overseeing regional LBM offices in the West and Midwest. Fahy was most recently the LBM Division Manager of Building Materials. Prior to that, she was a regional sales manager for the West Coast.

“Do it Best is committed to growing our business with existing members while attracting new members into the Do it Best family,” says vice president of LBM Russ Kathrein. “Jean’s previous field sales leadership experience, as well as her tremendous passion for our LBM members, makes her uniquely qualified to lead our LBM growth efforts.”

Fahy will split her time between the company’s Fort Wayne headquarters and its Woodburn, Oregon, regional office as she recruits and trains the additional traders and specialists needed to service the planned member and sales growth she’ll be leading.

“My greatest passion is serving our members and helping them grow,” Fahy says. “This new position allows us to build for our LBM members’ current and future needs while bringing on even more great additions into the Do it Best family.”

Do it Best also recently named seasoned industry veteran Jason Hanegan as the new national sales manager for the company.
