To enhance the selection of potential products it offers to its member-owners from domestic and international vendors, Do it Best will be hosting a spring Open Buying Day. The event will take place on March 22 at the Do it Best world headquarters in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The Open Buying Day allows qualified vendors to meet with the merchandising team to present their company and products and learn about the requirements to become a Do it Best vendor. Participation includes a required $200 non-refundable donation to the Do it Best Foundation.
“As we work to continually strengthen Do it Best as the first and best choice for our members, discovering new vendors and innovative products plays an important role in further enhancing our members’ product mix,” says Dent Johnson, vice president of merchandising for Do it Best. “We are strongly committed to delivering solution-oriented products for our store owners, which is why we’re hosting another Open Buying Day. This process makes it easier for selected vendors to participate and ultimately helps our members grow their sales with new products added to our distribution network.”
