Lindsey joined the NHPA staff in 2021 as an associate editor and has served as senior editor and now managing editor. A native of Ohio, Lindsey earned a B.S. in journalism and minors in business and sociology from Ohio University. She loves spending time with her husband, two kids, two cats and one dog, as well as doing DIY projects around the house, coaching basketball, going to concerts, boating and cheering on the Cleveland Guardians.

Austin works with printers, editors, designers and the sales team to ensure Hardware Retailing, Paint & Decorating Retailer and other publishing projects get to print on time. Austin graduated from Ball State University in 2014 with a degree in Advertising. He and his wife Molly enjoy cooking, traveling and supporting local businesses all around Indianapolis.

Jacob is the content coordinator for Hardware Retailing Magazine. A lifelong Hoosier, Jacob earned a B.S. in journalism and telecommunications with a minor in digital publishing from Ball State University. He loves making bagels, going to farmers markets with his wife Hannah and two dogs and watching Formula One.

Annie joined the NHPA staff in 2024 as a content development coordinator on the editorial team. Annie was born and raised in the suburbs of Indianapolis and graduated from Lipscomb University in 2024 with a B.B.A. in Marketing. Her favorite hobbies include baking, photography, traveling and visiting coffee shops.

Autumn is a graphic designer for NHPA. Her primary focus is designing layouts for Hardware Retailing and Paint & Decorating Retailer magazines. She graduated with a degree in journalism graphics from Ball State University. She worked as an assistant design editor for a newspaper company before finding her home at NHPA. Autumn loves spending quality time with her inquisitive 7-year-old son. She also enjoys face painting, cooking and listening to the Hamilton soundtrack on repeat.
Marketing and Design Specialist
Olivia Adam

Olivia Shroyer joined the NHPA team in 2022 as a graphic designer and is now also a photographer for Hardware Retailing, Paint & Decorating Retailer, and various NHPA events. She holds a B.F.A. in visual communication design, with minors in art history and digital humanities from IU-Indy’s Herron School of Art and Design. She coaches the IU-Indy rowing team, manages marketing for her mom’s business, Honey Bunny Bear Bakery, and is a dedicated Notre Dame fan. In her free time, Olivia enjoys painting murals, rowing for the Indianapolis Rowing Center, exploring new coffee shops and spending time with her husband and two cats.
Production and Design Assistant

Sam joined the NHPA team in 2023 as a production and design assistant. Originally from California, she recently made the move to Indiana, embracing a big change and starting a new adventure. She has a background in freelance design and was previously a Veterinary Technician. In her free time she enjoys traveling, hiking, reading and pursuing a variety of creative interests like photography, woodworking and ceramics.
Sales and Production Assistant
Freda Creech

As production assistant for Hardware Retailing magazine, Freda works very closely with the Hardware Retailing sales team in collecting ad insertion orders, gathering advertisers’ production materials and invoicing advertisers monthly. In addition, she also assists in marketing mailings and oversees the NHPA mailroom. Freda has been employed at NHPA for over 35 years.
