Trash Service Gives Customers Options

A necessity many take for granted, trash service isn’t always readily available. That was the case for residents of Brown County in Indiana, so Bear Hardware, located in Nashville, Indiana, in the heart of the county, stepped in to provide that service.

Customers can bring in their trash to the store and for $2 a bag, Bear Hardware will dispose of the trash. Owner Curt Scroggins says when they first offered the service, they partnered with another trash company but parted ways with that company after a few years.

“I had so many customers tell me that they really missed the trash service and asked us to offer it again,” Scroggins says. “We ended up buying our own dumpsters and trash truck to provide that service again. It’s a really good thing for the community that they have somewhere to go for trash service.”
