Channellock Appoints New Director of Product Management

Channellock, Inc., a manufacturer of pliers and hand tools, recently announced the promotion of Mark Yoder to director of product management. Yoder transitions to the role after 23 years in sales with the company, bringing extensive knowledge of CHANNELLOCK® products, customers and distribution partners to the position.

Yoder most recently served as director of sales, North America, where he directed brand growth initiatives through the company’s North American sales teams. Throughout his career with Channellock, Yoder has spent time in the field and at industry events connecting with trade professionals. That exposure has helped him understand their applications, challenges and evolving needs, providing a strong foundation for his move into product management.

“Mark has spent more than two decades listening to our customers, working alongside our sales partners and building a deep understanding of what professionals expect from CHANNELLOCK®,” says Jimmy Bromley, president of Channellock, Inc. “His experience, product knowledge and relationships across the industry will be tremendous assets as we continue to strengthen our product leadership and bring new solutions to market.”

As director of product management, Yoder will help guide product strategy and portfolio development, identify market opportunities and customer needs and support new product development from concept through launch. He will work with sales, marketing, engineering and manufacturing to help develop innovative, high-quality products that strengthen the CHANNELLOCK® portfolio and drive continued growth.

“After spending so much of my career working directly with our customers and sales teams, I’m excited to bring that perspective to product management,” Yoder says. “The best products start with understanding what people need to get the job done. I’m looking forward to working with our teams to turn those insights into innovative tools that deliver the quality and performance people expect from CHANNELLOCK®.”
