The National Hardware Show has dedicated a new category and area of the Show floor to impulse products, called the Impulse Aisle. According to Brandon Gaille Small Business & Marketing Advice, over 90 percent of shoppers make occasional impulse purchases and 75 percent of consumers feel happy after they make impulse purchases. With the added stress of the pandemic and civic unrest, impulse shopping may increase in 2021.
