All Dressed Up

Jamie Luttrell, co-owner of True Value Hardware in Hebron, Neb., regularly paints designs on the store’s windows. She often features seasonal artwork, such as snowmen at Christmastime; just recently she finished a True Value mural on the side of the building.

“Painting is always something I’ve liked to do,” she says. “My mom taught me quite a bit.” She says customers regularly come to the store to see her new designs. “I didn’t anticipate how excited people would get, but then we had people saying they couldn’t wait to see what I’d do next. It’s fun.”
