Ace Retail Holdings to Relocate Store Support Center

Ace Retail Holdings, the parent company of Westlake Ace Hardware, Great Lakes Ace Hardware and other retail brands, announced it will relocate its Store Support Center (SSC) from its current location in Lenexa, Kansas, to a complex in Overland Park, Kansas.

The office is located at the Executive Hills office complex in Overland Park and spans around 32,500 square feet. The facility will house approximately 130 associates from finance, IT, human resources, marketing, merchandising and operations.

“It’s exciting to expand and reinforce our commitment to the Kansas City area as an employer and neighbor,” says Joe Jeffries, president and chief executive officer of Ace Retail Holdings. “Relocating to a larger, more versatile and vibrant space helps support the tremendous growth Ace Retail Holdings has experienced in recent years. The Executive Hills location is ideal because it’s very accessible for the majority of our associates, many of whom live in Johnson County, and it will include amenities that will foster team building and collaboration. We are looking forward to the move.”

Overland Park mayer Curt Skoog says the city is pleased to welcome Ace Retail Holdings and Westlake Ace Hardware to Overland Park.

“Westlake Ace stores have served Overland Park neighborhoods for many years, delivering reliable products and expert advice to the community,” Skoog says. “This is a win for Ace Retail Holdings and Overland Park, bringing valuable jobs to our city and further solidifying Overland Park as a premier executive office destination.”
