Ace Retail Holdings Announces Multi-Store Remodeling Initiative

Ace Retail Holdings recently announced the launch of a multi-year initiative to remodel its stores with a new hardware shopping experience. Planning to make significant investments over the next five years, Ace Retail Holdings aims to install the new store concept in around 20 locations each year.

“The new ELEVATE³ Ace store concept delivers a game-changing, transformative and memorable retail experience,” says Joe Jeffries, president and CEO of Ace Retail Holdings. “In addition to providing a fresh showcase for the Ace Helpful Promise, the design allows us to better serve our customers and neighbors by creating distinctive spaces that elevate and showcase best-in-class brands across the store with feature presentations in BBQ and Power.”

Updates will include a new layout of barbecue departments, featuring fuels and accessories merchandised alongside branded grills, popular power tools displayed alongside popular outdoor power equipment brands and new store-within-a-store concepts, such as The Paint Studio, The Kitchen Connection and The Apparel Shops.

The Great Lakes Ace in Shelby Township, Michigan, was part of the successful pilot of the ELEVATE³ concept and was remodeled in 2024. The first Westlake Ace Store to be remodeled is located in Raleigh, North Carolina.
