Ace Hardware Recognized for Customer Service and Top UX Performance

Ace Hardware was recently named one of the nation’s top brands for customer service, ranking No. 36 overall on the Forbes 2026 Best Customer Service List. This ranking places Ace in the top 2% of more than 3,500 companies evaluated and the highest-ranked hardware and home improvement retailer on the list.

“To be recognized by Forbes and, more importantly, by customers themselves, is a powerful validation of what makes Ace different,” says Kim Lefko, chief marketing officer at Ace Hardware. “Being helpful isn’t just a promise; it’s our standard. Our red-vested heroes are trusted neighbors in the communities they serve, and this recognition reflects the pride they take in that role.”

The annual Forbes list is based entirely on consumer feedback and collects data over a 12-month period from over 158,000 customers. Criteria like personal interaction, speed, services and resolution are all measured.

Ace has also been recognized by the Baymard Institute as a 2025 Ecommerce UX Award winner, achieving Top 1% UX performance in the Home & Hardware category for desktop e-commerce experiences.

The annual awards honor brands that demonstrate exceptional user experience performance based on research and best-practice implementation. Over 400 major e-commerce sites across 18 industries were evaluated. This is the second time in three years Ace has earned a Baymard Ecommerce UX Award.
