Koelnmesse Italy and Buyer Point, the Italian Event of Brico Home & Garden, are joining forces this year to create one event for the international hardware market. Buyer Point will take place in Milan on May 27, 2026, following the International Hardware Fair, Italy, on May 5 and 6, 2026, in Bergamo, Italy.

“This collaboration enhances our respective strengths without altering the identity or structure of the two events,” says David Giardino, managing director of Collins. “Buyer Point will take place as scheduled in Milan on 27 May 2026, while International Hardware Fair Italy confirms its dates of 5 and 6 May 2027 in Bergamo. The agreement allows us to further strengthen our role in facilitating meetings between buyers and companies, expanding the international dimension and making the matchmaking that has always defined our initiatives even more effective. For more than ten years, Buyer Point has focused on engaging buyers from abroad, responding to a strong demand from manufacturers who are constantly ‘hungry’ for export opportunities. We found the same philosophy in Koelnmesse Italy, and at that point it felt natural to present the market with a single international event.”
Last year’s event brought together 320 exhibitors from 22 countries and over 5,600 visitors from 53 nations. More than 300 international buyers participated in B2B meetings and a professional program of conferences and workshops following over 16 thematic sessions.

“In a market characterized by a multitude of events and trade shows dedicated to the hardware sector and related industries, this agreement marks a decisive step toward greater clarity and simplification of the overall offering,” says Thomas Rosolia, managing director of Koelnmesse Italy. “The goal is to create a single reference platform capable of enhancing exhibitors’ investments and providing visitors with a more comprehensive and representative event for the market.”
