Hagan Ace Hardware Names New Director of Merchandising

Hagan Ace Hardware recently announced the promotion of Tony Lucas to director of merchandising.

“At Hagan Ace, our philosophy has always been to grow our people and promote from within whenever possible, while remaining open to outstanding professionals who bring valuable experience and fresh perspective,” says Bill Hagan, owner of Hagan Ace Hardware. “Tony exemplifies that philosophy.”

Lucas has served as store manager of Hagan Ace Hardware of Yulee for the past three years. Before joining Hagan Ace, Lucas spent over 35 years with Sears in Chicago and Indiana, holding a variety of leadership positions in retail integration, customer experience and digital transformation. Most recently, he served as senior director of integrated technology and customer experience at Sears, generating significant revenue growth and improved customer engagement.

In his new role as director of merchandising, Lucas will oversee product strategy, vendor relationships, category development and in-store execution across Hagan Ace locations.

“Tony brings a rare combination of frontline retail experience and enterprise-level leadership,” Hagan says. “He understands how merchandising decisions impact customers, associates and the bottom line. We are excited to see his vision take shape across our stores.”
