Pleasants Hardware Opens New Richmond, Virginia Location

Taylor’s Do it Center and Pleasants Hardware recently announced a new Pleasants Hardware location in Richmond, Virginia.

“Reaching our 22nd location is an important milestone, and we’re proud to expand in the Richmond market with a store that continues our long tradition of service,” says Joe Taylor, president & CEO of Taylor’s Do it Center and Pleasants Hardware. “Our commitment remains the same: to provide customers with trusted products, expertise and personalized service that sets us apart from big-box competitors.”

The new 15,000-square-foot store will be located in Chesterfield County and is scheduled to open in spring 2026.

“This new location allows us to better serve customers in Chesterfield with the high-quality products and service they expect from Pleasants,” says Darrell Campbell, general manager of Pleasants Hardware. “We are committed to making this store a community hub where neighbors can find everything they need for their homes and projects, with the personal attention and expertise that have defined Pleasants for more than a century.”
