Last week, spoga+gafa 2025, the leading global trade fair for garden lifestyle and barbecue, brought in 26,000 visitors from around the world, focusing on key themes in the garden industry like the wish for emotional relevance, strategic orientation and market-relevant innovations.
“In a year that is currently still characterized by economic restraint, spoga+gafa underlined the key role it plays as an international industry meeting point,” says Oliver Frese, chief operating officer of Koelnmesse. “This success not only underpins the international relevance of the event, but also stands for a visible transformation that we will consistently shape with spoga+gafa over the coming years. Looking forward, spoga+gafa’s new theme world for 2026 will feature its own “outdoor adventure” section, separate from other sections at the event. This section will become an experiential area for exercise, balance and adventure.
The outdoor furniture section at spoga+gafa 2026 will be restructured as a curated exhibition space exclusively for outdoor furniture manufacturers. Other product sections being realigned include the theme Asia-Sourcing being bundled in its own hall under the name “Garden Sourcing Hub.”
The 2026 event will take place in Cologne, Germany, from June 22 to June 24, 2026.
