Do it Best announced the appointment of Scott Morrison as member operational excellence manager. This new role was created to provide members with hands-on expertise to increase productivity and provide profitability in home centers, lumberyards and manufacturing components.
In this role, Morrison will bring expertise in process optimization, facility layout design and manufacturing efficiency to conduct truss plant and door shop manufacturing efficiency assessments, evaluate lumberyard layouts for increased productivity and identify and eliminate bottlenecks in company processes.

Morrison will also lead quote-to-cash analysis, benchmarking and improve information flow across organizations as well as develop and deliver educational programs.
