House-Hasson to Hold First In-Person Dealer Market in More Than 18 Months

House-Hasson Hardware is holding its first in-person dealer market Aug. 12-14 in Sevierville, Tennessee—and the company’s president says hotel rooms reserved for the event were snapped up by retailer attendees faster than for any market in the company’s history.

“The rooms reserved for dealers were all taken nine weeks ahead of the market; in the past, it’s usually about three weeks out,” says Henry. “Dealers are anxious to meet with vendors and our House-Hasson staff, and our team members can’t wait to see our dealers, who get great benefit from our markets in improving their margins throughout the year.

House-Hasson president and CEO Steve Henry says the wholesaler is following public health guidance to ensure attendee and vendor safety at the event.

“We’ll follow all CDC protocols for COVID-19 protection,” Henry says. “We want dealers to come, take advantage of the profit-building sales and products offered at our market, and while doing so, we want them and their families to be safe.”

House-Hasson expects hundreds of dealers at the August market, says Pat McCutcheon, House-Hasson’s vice president of sales.

“We’ve been greatly pleased with dealer response,” McCutcheon says. “We’ve exceeded multiple times the number of hotel rooms we blocked out for dealer, and had to add more.”

House-Hasson Hardware serves some 2,500 dealers in 23 states and the Caribbean Basin.
