Groupe BMR CEO to Leave Position in February

Canadian wholesaler Groupe BMR has confirmed to Hardlines that CEO Pascal Houle will leave his position in February to become head of operations with BMR’s parent company Sollio Group Coopératif (formerly known as La Coop fédérée).

Hardlines reports Houle will assume his new position on Feb. 25. He will report directly to Sollio CEO Gaétan Desroches.

Houle began his career in 1998 as the manager of his local co-op in Laurierville, Quebec, and has served as CEO of Groupe BMR since 2015.

La Coop fédérée consists of more than 300 home renovation center and hardware stores in Quebec, Ontario and the Maritime Provinces. Groupe BMR operates 17 corporate stores located in Montreal.
