House-Hasson Announces Online Dealer Market for January

House-Hasson has announced plans for a virtual dealer market in January instead of its traditional in-person event normally held in Nashville, Tennessee. The Fresh Start online dealer market is currently scheduled to take place Jan. 28-29.

House-Hasson president Don Hasson says his team made the decision after reviewing recent COVID-19 statistics for the Nashville area

Hasson says the forthcoming online event will be similar to its first online event held this summer. The event will include traditional components, including bonus buys, pallet buys, super savers, deals on drop-ship and warehouse orders among other margin builders for dealers.

Hasson says the company has seen high online engagement and attendance for its online events, with the summer event in particular recording a 20 percent increase in sales.

The company presented a scaled-down online event in October.

“We chose to go with a smaller sales event in October, principally because product demand was so high we had to focus on meeting the immediate needs of our dealers. Their profitability is the basis for everything we do,” Hasson says.

Hasson says he and his team will continue to monitor COVID-19 data and return to in-person events when it is safe to do so.

“For nearly 115 years, we’ve been building relationships with dealers,” Hasson says.  “There’s a lot of personality in the hardware business, and the interpersonal relationships are an important part of our company’s life.
