True Value Company saw revenue and comparable store sales increase in the second quarter of 2015.
Retail comparable store sales were up 2.3 percent in the quarter and 3.5 percent year to date, with growth throughout the U.S. and in all of the cooperative’s product categories, led by farm and ranch, auto, pet, hand and power tools and seasonal.

The cooperative reported revenue of $431.9 million for the quarter, an increase of 0.6 percent from the same period in 2014. For the six-month period ending July 4, True Value reported revenue of $785.8 million, an increase of 3.3 percent from the same period a year ago.
Destination True Value (DTV) comparable store sales were up 5.6 percent year to date. The DTV format is a custom store design that incorporates traffic patterns, merchandising layout plans and informative, attention getting signage. True Value also saw 50 new stores open and 26 store conversions.
