Are Coupons Really Worth It?

Are consumers using coupons? Yes. Thirty-one percent of respondents to a RetailMeNot study indicate they have redeemed a coupon or promotional code online and 28 percent have done so in stores. This data shows that coupons aren’t outdated, but can be sure-fire ways to get customers in your store.

The data below demonstrates that promotions dictate where consumers shop and what they purchase.

Applied to Retail: This data shows that promotions get people through your doors to make a purchase. Further data from the study indicates that consumers are more likely to be loyal and make future purchases at full price in a store that offers promotions. Plan your promotional events accordingly and ensure that visitors have top-notch experiences during those times so they return on nonsale days to buy products at regular prices.
