Ace Hardware is promoting two leaders within the company.
The co-op has named Dan Miller vice president of retail operations and new business and appointed Brian Wiborg as vice president of retail development and supply, according to a press release.
“Ace is pleased to promote Dan and Brian, both of whom have been difference makers for Ace for quite some time,” says John Venhuizen, president and CEO of Ace Hardware Corporation. “In their new roles, Dan and Brian will be laser-focused on our passion to continuously improve the retail store model. I know these individuals well and am confident these two leaders will take us further, faster.”
Miller, 58, has been with the company for 33 years. He began his career with Ace in 1981 as a district manager, with subsequent assignments as retail services manager, store development manager, international sales manager in Europe and the Middle East, regional manager and manager of new business. In October 1998, Miller was promoted to director of retail operations in Denver, Colorado, where he was responsible for field operations west of the Mississippi River.
Wiborg, 42, rejoined Ace in December 2013 as director of category management and business to business. In his new role as vice president of retail development and supply, Wiborg oversees category management, retail pricing, retail training, retail development, store systems and operations and business to business.
