84 Lumber announced the promotion of Dave Morgan from deputy general counsel to general counsel, effective immediately.
Morgan has played a critical role in guiding 84 Lumber through strategic growth since he joined the company in 2016. In his new role, he will oversee all legal matters for the company, providing counsel and supporting long-term operations.
“I was so glad when I brought Dave into the company,” says Maggie Hardy, owner and CEO of 84 Lumber. “He came to 84 with a strong background, and I wanted to make sure he truly understood our business and culture. Over the years, he’s done exactly that. Dave has a deep empathy for our customers and our associates, and he understands how this company operates. His promotion to general counsel is very well deserved.”
Prior to joining 84 Lumber, Morgan was a partner at Gordon Rees scully Mansukhani, LLP, where he worked in commercial and business litigation. He also held roles at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC and Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, gaining experience in general litigation, real estate law, medical malpractice and products liability.
