5 Pool Maintenance Products for a Clean and Safe Pool

While some aspects of pool maintenance should be left to a professional, there are many steps homeowners can take to ensure their pools remain safe and healthy year-round, not just during the summer months.

Hardware Retailing recommends these five pool products customers should use to maintain their pools on a daily, weekly and yearly basis.

Daily Maintenance:

The Dolphin Escape Robotic Pool Cleaner from Dolphin Premier is made with a filter designed to capture debris and a scanning software to navigate a pool floor intelligently. The machine filters over 4000 gallons of water per hour and works on in-ground and above-ground pools up to 33 feet.

Weekly Maintenance:

WaterGuru’s SENSE S2 is a pool chemical monitor that sends results directly to a customer’s phone, eliminating the need for chemical testing strips. The monitor fits round skimmer openings between 8.25 and 9.4 inches, measures a pool pump daily and measures water temperature every 30 minutes.

This multi-surface push broom bundle from Swopt Cleaning Co. includes a 10-inch deck brush head designed for rough surfaces, a 24-inch multisurface push broom head and a 60-inch wood handle. The broom head features bristles with a stiff inner core for precise and efficient cleaning and the wood handle includes a comfort grip.

Yearly Maintenance:

This in-pool ladder from Confer Plastics is a straight up and down in-pool ladder that adjusts to fit deck heights from 46 to 56 inches. The ladder comes in a warm grey color, complementary to brown or grey pools, and has a weight limit of 250lbs.

The Harris H1573060 Vortex Sand Filter Tank from Doheny’s comes in five sizes, from 16 inches to 31 inches. The filter works for any type of pool, is designed to work with water at temperatures from 32 degrees to 113 degrees Fahrenheit and includes a 6-position dial valve with a flange clamp attachment.
