5 Home Renovation Products for the New Homeowner

According to data from the Home Improvement Research Institute, homebuyers in 2024 focused on renovating and upgrading the kitchens, bathrooms and floors of the homes they recently moved into.

Hardware Retailing recommends these five products to cater to the growing demand for kitchen, bathroom and floor renovations.

Kitchen

These floating wood shelves from BaoBab Workshop come as a set of two in either 16, 24 or 36-inch lengths. These shelves are painted with water-based wax, have hidden adjustable brackets and are made with 100% solid European fir wood.

Moen’s motion-activated, touchless kitchen faucet features single-sensor, hands-free activation, allowing users to turn the faucet on and off with the wave of a hand. The faucet includes a pull-down feature, has a highly reflective chrome finish and is equipped with aerated stream and spray rinse options.

Bathroom 

This dimmable LED bathroom mirror from Brio Lighting includes a button to change light settings around the mirror and features a memory feature, allowing the mirror to remember the last light setting used. The mirror comes in a variety of sizes, has antifog technology and includes a 90+ CRI LED strip for optimal brightness in any bathroom.

Kohler’s three-function oblong showerhead is available in eight shades, can spray either 1.75 or 2.5 gallons per minute and has three spray options: full coverage, deep massage and cloud. The shower head is wall-mounted and has a ½-inch -14 NPT connection. 

Flooring 

These peel-and-stick floor tiles from WallPops are simple to install, water-resistant and washable. The tiles come in a variety of designs and sizes and come in packages of 10 tiles.
