Home Depot May Provide Tools for Automotive Products

Home Depot is looking to incorporate a new niche into the home improvement chain. According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Carol Tomé, chief financial officer of Home Depot, recently announced that the company is exploring a possible move into the automotive DIY niche.

The article explains that the company is testing this niche, “Do-It-Yourself Automotive,” in about 50 stores across the chain. If Home Depot decides to move forward with the plan, they will provide automotive parts to their customers.
