Top 5 Interior Design Trends for 2015

For home fashion, expect 2015 to bring in natural and subtle colors and textures integrated with a modern ambiance.

That’s according to home improvement and real estate information company Zillow Digs, which recently recommended five home design trends to keep an eye out for in 2015, as well as noting the 2014 fads that are heading out of style.

“Unexpected textures and an eclectic, modern vibe are about to find their way in 2015. Expect to see a more sophisticated look in 2015 that incorporates gold hardware, natural textures and a subtle mid-century modern undertone,” Kerrie Kelly, a design expert from Zillow Digs, says in a recent press release.

  1. Gold fixtures
  2. Cowhide
  3. Wallpaper
  4. Blue accent colors
  5. Modern/mid-century modern elements

What’s out?

  1. Chevron prints
  2. Bright colors
  3. Solid painted accent walls
  4. Matching furniture
