Millennials’ Color Choices

The younger generations, specifically millennials, do things differently. A majority of them rent a home or live with their parents. Some millennials are city dwellers and want to avoid the suburbs, and others prefer housing options that are close to their jobs. Millennials also have defining design preferences.

People under the age of 35 are more likely than older generations to choose bold and bright color schemes for their homes, according to 2014 Houzz Decorating Trends Study. While soft and neutral colors are popular among all generations, millennials are more likely to take risks with dramatic colors.
