Based on The International Surface Event 2022, Houzz shared tile trends for 2022. Here, we share the three trends that will resonate most with your customers as they update their homes this year.
Nature. Like other elements of design popular today, aspects of nature continue to play a key role in indoor design. Consider stocking ceramic or porcelain tiles that feature neutral, soft hues and natural elements like Emser Tile’s new faux wood Heirloom tile in Larch. Tile Club’s King Nut is another option, and it includes a slip-resistant finish that provides the look of wood without issues with scratches or wear and tear.
Patterns. Classic tiles often include patterns, and this year, varied patterns will remain popular. Floral patterns like Marazzi’s new Rice tiles in 6-by-6-inch Deco Bloss will be especially popular this year.
Shapes. While hexagons, pickets and other geometric lines will continue to be popular this year, more interesting shapes like leaves, waves and Art Deco-inspired curves will gain ground.
