Zillow, a mobile and web real-estate marketplace, identifies the hot decorating trends in master bedrooms. As the weather cools down, 50 percent of homeowners still plan on tackling a home improvement project with about 77 percent of those projects taking place indoors, specifically in the master bedroom. These trends are not focused on furniture-specific pieces, but rather products that can be found in local hardware stores. The top three trends Zillow identifies are raw or reclaimed wood, modern statement lighting and warm neutrals.
